We DO NOT and WILL NOT list consumer devices as PROFESSIONAL

or MILITARY devices, unlike many Australian suppliers.

There are those who call themselves suppliers of "Tactical" equipment, but

list nothing but consumer grade products, and fill their web sites with

the flood of Chinese and other similar items currently entering Australia.

YOU WILL NOT FIND CONSUMER ITEMS ON THIS SITE.

Although these products available here are controlled items and often

assumed to be for "Government Only" purchase, they are COMPLETELY LEGAL for private purchase and use within Australia.

We are fully owned and operated by Australian personnel.

Who as contractors (Australian Shooting Services), use a range of the Thermal Imaging and Image Intensifying devices available from this site.

Being operational users involved with feral animal control, using various models of image intensifying and thermal imaging equipment, including the TWS "Elite" series thermal scopes, (Now the "Supreme" model) we take pride in the fact we can genuinely provide a prospective client with information and details about the various product types, explaining the differences and their uses, rather than blindly quoting from a specification sheet, hoping you will actually understand.

(Which is unfortunately, all most "night vision retailers" are able to provide.)

Be aware there are some thermal rifle scopes commonly available, that have some serious problems that you only find after you have outlaid your money.

Unfortunately, most re-sellers, even those who are aware of a situation, are reluctant to admit to this problem.

Also worth noting is that there are some manufacturers that only have 1 Year warranty, and some will not carry out ANY repairs at all on your device after

5 years, warranty or not.

Australian Night Vision specializes in high performance "controlled" genuine professional / law enforcement devices.

While these products may appear expensive at first glance, they will provide

far better value for your money than the so called "cheaper" brands of devices.

The purchase of entry level Gen 1 and even Gen 2 image intensifying items are not recommended due to their limited performance.

Because of their extremely high dependence on additional IR light, the commonly available digital "night vision" products are also not recommended.

I fail to see why anyone should be required to provide "light" to make a night vision device work ??

None of these products, Generation 1, Generation 2, or the commonly available general purpose Digital, will provide acceptable results under normal "working" conditions.

Even for recreational use, no less than genuine commercial grade items, and preferably professional grade products, should be considered, as the performance/reliability of consumer grade products will never provide satisfactory results, or provide a long life.
